About us

NZ owned and operated, engineer-led

Cloud Craft Consulting is a New Zealand company helping organisations run, secure and modernise their IT, on-premises and in the cloud.

Who we are

Cloud Craft Consulting Limited was incorporated in New Zealand in 2020. We're a hands-on consultancy: the people who scope your work are the people who do it.

Our background spans Windows Server, Hyper-V and VMware, SQL Server, networking, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, Microsoft Azure and AWS, and FinOps. That mix means we can look after the server room, the network and the cloud bill, and see how they affect each other.

What we believe

  • Right platform, not the trendy one. Sometimes the best architecture decision is deliberately not choosing the cloud.
  • No surprises. Every change has a plan, a test and a rollback.
  • Cost is a design requirement. FinOps thinking from day one, not after the bill arrives.
  • Write it down. You get documentation you can actually use.

Sectors

Where we've worked

Our clients include organisations in the health sector, manufacturing and government.

Health

Clinical and administrative systems can't go down, and patient data must stay protected. We support resilient infrastructure, secure access and backups, with data residency options in New Zealand.

Manufacturing

Production, ERP and plant systems need reliable networks and servers on site, often with ageing applications that still matter. We keep them running and modernise them step by step.

Government

Public sector teams need secure, well-documented and cost-accountable IT. We work to documented change processes and keep cloud spend transparent.
